Monroe Social Services Needs Donations for the Back to School Buddy Program

Donation boxes for new school supplies such as pens, paper, backpacks and glue sticks are located at The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library.

MONROE, CT — The Monroe Department of Community and Social Services is seeking monetary donations for the Friendship Fund’s Back to School Buddy program, according to the Monroe Courier. The Town's website states that the purpose of the fund is to purpose is to collect donations for items needed that are not covered under the umbrella of the Food Pantry, Project Warmth, or the Senior Benefit Fund.

Donation boxes for new school supplies are located at The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library. Donations can also be dropped off at Monroe Social Services: 7 Fan Hill Rd. Monroe, CT 06468. Monetary donations may be mailed to" The Town of Monroe, Monroe Social Services: 7 Fan Hill Rd. Monroe, CT 06468.
