Monroe Superintendent to Retire: Report
Breaking: Jim Agostine has served the district since 2012.

MONROE, CT — Monroe Superintendent Jim Agostine will be retiring at the end of the school year, reports the Monroe Courier. At Tuesday's Board of Education meeting, Agostine announced his last day would be June 30.
Agostine said that with his departure, the Board of Education will no longer be forced to cut a central office position from the district. He also told the board he would be available over the summer to help with the transition.
