Monroe Town Council Member Resigns: Report

Breaking: He resigned in a letter, where he thanked the town and its residents.

MONROE, CT — A town council member resigned from his post Tuesday, reports the Monroe Courier. Nicholas Kapoor cited new responsibilities in his professional life as a reason for his resignation.

He also stated he was appointed and confirmed by the general assembly to serve as a member of the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunity.

Kapoor resigned from his post via a letter , where he thanked the town for the opportunity. Kapoor served on the council for three and a half years.
