New Details In Monroe Cocaine Selling Arrest: Report

Police believe the accused was selling drugs from his Monroe Road home.

MONROE, CT — The man accused of selling cocaine out of his Driftwood Road Home is the husband of a Stamford police officer, according to a report from the Stamford Advocate. Michael Pinto, 56, was arrested after a search of his home yielded cocaine, weapons and cash.

His wife, Sgt. Jennifer Pinto, is a 28-year veteran of the Stamford police department. He formerly worked for the City of Bridgeport Parks Department until October 2010 when he was injured while saving a young boy.

Investigators say they found a consistent cocaine delivery to Monroe, and were able to develop Pinto as a suspect. When they searched his home, they found cocaine packaged for sale, loose prescription medications, weapons and cash.
