Obituary: Jean Cecilia Carrano

Jean Cecilia Carrano, 75, of Clinton, CT, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2013.

Jean was born on August 10, 1937 to Joseph and Catherine Golas of Wauregan, CT. She was a graduate of Griswold High School in Griswold, CT.

She worked as the Assistant to the Building Official for the Town of Clinton for many years.

She is survived by her loving brother, Joseph Golas (wife Joyce); her children, Lyn Stokes, Janniece Zinsky (husband Luke), Lori Deveau, and Kris Carrano (wife Kelley), grandchildren Robert and Mandy Stokes; Luke III, Eve, Hannah and Ethan Zinsky; Nicholas, Emily and Ryan Briere; Connor Carrano; and many great-grand children. Jean was predeceased by her husband Pat (Pasquale) Carrano.

Jean loved spending time with her family and friends. Family was the most important aspect of her life. In previous years, Jean enjoyed Summers at the Clinton Town Dock where she and Pat docked their boat. She was incredibly thoughtful and generous, and never forgot anyone's birthday. Jean also enjoyed making Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls and growing daisies.
