Lucy, a two-year-old spayed female pit bull mix, is available for adoption at the Monroe Animal Shelter on Purdy Hill Road. She weighs 37 pounds and has been vaccinated. Animal Control Officer Ed Risko said Lucy was brought to the pound as a stray last month. Those interested in adopting Lucy should call the shelter at 203-452-3760.
