A 13-year-old Monroe girl and her mother came to the police station on May 1 to lodge a complaint over inappropriate comments and messages made to the teen online. Police said the messages were made anonymously on the chat page Ask.fm, adding they believe it was by the same user. "We are investigating and the middle school principal at Jockey Hollow was made aware of it," Lt. Brian McCauley said. If someone is ultimately arrested, McCauley said the charge could be harassment or threatening.
