Serial Burglar Stole Gun, Credit Cards from Monroe Home: Police
The man is a suspect in other residential burglaries across the state.

MONROE, CT — An out-of-towner was arrested Monday in connection with a burglary on Purdy Hill Road, according to Monroe Police. Steven Aberg, 28, of Lisbon was arrested in connection with the June 8 burglary, in which the homeowners reported that jewelry, credit cards, electronics and a firearm were stolen.
Police say Aberg was identified after his photos were posted to the police department's Facebook page on June 12. Investigators got the photos from places where he attempted to use stolen credit cards.
The Lisbon man is a suspect in other burglaries across the state.

He was charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal trespassing in the second degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, larceny in the third degree, fraudulent use of an ATM, credit card theft, identity theft and theft of a firearm. He was held on a $50,000 bond.
