Single-Vehicle Crash Draws Hour-Long Response From Monroe Firefighters

Monroe firefighters spent over an hour securing a vehicle after a crash on Turkey Roost Road

MONROE, CT — Monroe Volunteer Fire Department crews responded Sunday afternoon to a single-vehicle crash on Turkey Roost Road, according to the department.

Firefighters said the driver reported no injuries but was evaluated at the scene by Monroe EMS as a precaution. Crews remained on site for more than an hour while the vehicle was secured for towing.

No additional details about the cause of the crash were released.
