Welcome to the new Patch. We’re really pleased with it and we think you’ll like it, too — but it is different, and it will take some getting used to.
First of all, we think the site looks livelier, and more like Monroe. See that big photo on the top? That’s Monroe Town Hall and the Gazebo, of course, and we thought it was a nice way to welcome you all to this virtual Monroe.
The big photo isn’t the only thing that’s better about Monroe Patch.
Now our news looks better — it's easier to comment on and to share. And right below the news on the Home page you’ll see blogs, where we can showcase more town voices and get a view of what’s happening beyond our own news reporting.
Plus, we’ve made it easier to start a blog yourself —any time, about anything.
