Tree Crashes Into Monroe Home: FD

MONROE, CT — A local homeowner returned to their house to find that a large tree had fallen onto their roof Sunday afternoon, according to the Stepney Volunteer Fire Department. Firefighters say that nobody was home at the house at the time.

Firefighters were on scene for less than an hour, and assessed hazards while Eversource cut power to the area.

Nobody was injured.
