A man arrived for work at the quarry on Garder Road at around noon on Thursday and found a pile of women's clothing and a black handbag by the entrance, according to police. Police said the clothing consisted of a dress and shirts and that the handbag was empty and appeared to have been discarded. Officers checked reports of missing persons and runaways in the area and nothing came back so far. Anyone with information should call the Monroe Police Department's main number at (203)261-3622.
