NAUGATUCK, CT β€” The autumnal equinox on Monday, Sept. 22, signals the official arrival of fall, but the season is already in full swing in the Naugatuck area with events such as corn mazes, hay rides, fall festivals and harvest events.

Sunny days and crisp evenings are perfect for outdoor fun. One can’t-miss event is the Harvest Moon Festival, which will be held on the Naugatuck Town Green.

But that’s just the beginning of fun activities taking place over the next couple of months.

Join the Naugatuck Historical Society at this year's Harvest Moon Festival, hosted by Troop 102 Scouts BSA!

Take an evening stroll through the beautiful Grove Cemeteryβ€”if you dare.

Parade starts approximately at 5:45 p.m. and if you are in the parade, you can start to line up on Chandler Drive at 5:15 p.m.

Enjoy food trucks, entertainment, crafters, vendors, animals, kids activities and more.

The Derby 350 Pub Crawl will offer participants "an unforgettable evening filled with fun, friends and fantastic local pubs."

The annual fall fair will be held at the Derby Senior Center.
