END-OF-SUMMER THRILLS AT CAMELBEACH THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND + DOG-FRIENDLY SPLASH EVENTS TO FOLLOW



Camelbeach, Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor waterpark, is closing out summer with exciting Labor Day weekend activities – and then turning the fun over to furry friends the following weekend with its first-ever Dog Days of Summer: Paws in the Pool & DockDogs® event.

Labor Day weekend highlights include:

  • Friday Night Fireworks – August 29 at dusk followed by a showing of “The Little Mermaid”
  • Mermaid Meet & Greet – August 30 & 31, from 12 to 1 p.m. and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., featuring photo opportunities with enchanting mermaids.


General admission starts at $30. Tickets and passes available at Camelbackresort.com/camelbeach-tickets-passes.

Then, the following weekend, the park officially goes to the dogs (literally):

Dog Days of Summer: Paws in the Pool & DockDogs® – Presented by Ertle Subaru

  • Saturday, Sept. 6: Guests and their canine companions can splash together in the wave pool and lazy river during Paws in the Pool (dog splash day).
  • Sept. 6–7: Catch all the high-flying DockDogs® action, including Big Air®, Extreme Vertical®, and Speed Retrieve® competitions.

  • Saturday, Sept. 6: Registration at 10 a.m.; events run 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 7: Registration at 9 a.m.; events run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Tickets for Dog Days: $5 per person; dogs are free. Complimentary parking.

Labor Day Weekend: Friday, August 30 – Monday, September 2
Dog Days of Summer: Saturday & Sunday, September 6–7
