CAMELBEACH OUTDOOR WATERPARK KICKS OFF SUMMER SEASON WITH THRILLING SLIDES,
POOLSIDE ENTERTAINMENT AND NEW ATTRACTIONS ON FRIDAY, JUNE 21
Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark, Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor waterpark, officially opens its 37 fantastic wet and wild mountainside waterpark slides and rides at Camelback Resort on Friday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Grand opening day brings a DJ for poolside entertainment, and waterpark staff will be giving out fun swag throughout the day.
This favorite Pocono Mountain summertime attraction is a destination that offers families and friends of all ages thrills, chills and perfect relaxation. From the newest Rival Racer waterslide with eight lanes for competitive racing to the Olympic Pool to the Blue Nile Adventure River with waterfalls and geysers, kiddie pools, splash zones like Mummy’s Oasis and thrilling slides including The Vortex, Dune Runner and High Noon Typhoon, sun seekers and water sports lovers can spend hours and hours of exciting, memorable waterpark times.
Special Camelbeach features include:
- 12 unique eateries to satisfy all appetites – among them are Cleo’s Café located near Pharoahs Phortress offering a special Dino Kid’s Meal, Vegetable and Fruit Platters, Brontosaurus Burger & Fries and more; PipeLine by the Wave Pool featuring a huge, multi-fare Carnivore Platter for very hungry swimmers; Smokehouse BBQ on the Deck with ribs, chicken, brisket, Jurassic Pork and Grab & Go lite eats.
- Camelbeach Swim School designed for kids 6 months to 15 years old offers 45 to 60 minutes of instruction and fun water time Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings starting June 22.
- Amenity-stocked cabana rentals and VIP seating available
- “Dinobeach” attraction opening on Friday, June 27, at 11 a.m. and running through September 2 is a sensational display featuring over 35 lifelike animatronic prehistoric creations, complete with roars and movements – placed throughout the waterpark.
