WATERBURY, CT — A 10-year-old child riding a bicycle suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car on Ridgewood Street in Waterbury around 7 p.m. Friday, according to media reports including Fox 61.

The child was flown from the scene to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and the cause of the accident is under investigation, WTNH News 8 reported.
