​Joyce Stolkoski obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Joyce Stolkoski, beloved and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and mother entered into eternal peace and paradise on the evening of July 29th, 2025 at CT Hospice.

Joyce Stolkoski was born on July 16, 1947 in Bridgeport, CT. She worked as a hair dresser before graduating from Boulard Havens LPN program. She continued her education in nursing to earn her Bachelor Degree as an RN with a specialty in psychiatric nursing. Throughout her life she worked and lived in CT, CA, AK, and MI before returning to CT, where she later retired.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Leona Moffo and her most beloved niece and nephew, Stacey A. Evans of Naugatuck, CT and Justin S. Harelik of Branford CT. Joyce also leaves behind beloved nephew, Wade G. Evans of Naugatuck, CT, niece, Nicole Harelik of Branford, CT as well as great nieces, Megan M Evans of Naugatuck, CT, Nina Harelik of Branford, CT, great nephews, Tyler Martus of Naugatuck, CT and Sean M. Evans of Naugatuck, CT and her great-great nephew, Jameson D. Martus of Naugatuck CT.

She is predeceased by her two sons Brian and Keith, both aged 6 months, and her parents, Leo and Joan (Katurkis) Stolkoski.

Joyce had always loved animals, most especially her dogs and as a passion, enjoyed gardening. At the time of her passing, before entering into hospice, she lived for many years in Prospect, CT where she leaves behind many beloved and loyal friends whom, along with her family will miss her warm smile and gentle and generous hugs.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday August 9, 2025 at 11 AM in St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Rd., Prospect CT 06712. Please go directly to the church. Burial will be private.
