Restaurant Owner Accused Of Fatally Shooting Man: Report

The shooting occurred outside Mikey's Jamaican Restaurant, and Waterbury police have arrested owner Michael Anderson, according to reports.

WATERBURY, CT β€” A man was shot and killed by a Waterbury restaurant owner early Saturday, according to a report from WTNH.

Waterbury police found a 28-year-old man laying on the ground around 1:30 a.m. on East Main Street. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries, according to the report.

The shooting occurred outside Mikey's Jamaican Restaurant, and police arrested the owner, 61-year-old Michael Anderson. Anderson is charged with murder and reckless endangerment, according to the report.
