Meet The Most Caring Neighbors: Naugatuck Hero

NAUGATUCK, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Linda Herman who nominated Pat and Steve Gibson of Naugatuck.

Hero's job: Health care and office

Relationship to nominee: Neighbors

Reason for recognition: My husband and I are in our mid 70s, and I was due to have surgery in April which got postponed to July. Pat and Steven didn’t want us to go to stores, so they picked up our groceries whenever we needed something. Check up on me now that I’ve had my surgery.
