How did you get into the insurance industry?
I got my start a little over 5 years ago after a successful career in the auto industry. I chose to make a change to insurance because I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people's lives. People rely on me to not only give them the best advice I can, but to also find them the most competitive rates available.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is all of the relationships that I've been able to build. I truly try to treat every client like a would a family member, and I really get the impression that they all know I do. I love hearing the genuine happiness that my policy holders have in their voices when I am able to help them. The referrals I get from my clients mean the world to me. It means that I've done my part to make such a difference in someone's life that they wanted to share it with a friend.
What’s something you wish everyone knew about insurance?
I wish people understood that just because something is cheaper, it does not make it better. I see people underinsured all too often, and it scares me every time. Making sure you're properly covered is the most important thing.
What's something you wish everyone knew about working with a local agent?

I would tell them that they could only gain from the experience. There is absolutely nothing to lose. I am happy to give advice to people even when I can't earn their business.

I was born and raised in Watertown, and I love the small-town feel.
