Naugatuck police searched Black Rock Canines on Wednesday.
NAUGATUCK, CT β The Naugatuck Police Department searched Black Rock Canines, a Naugatuck-based dog training company, on Wednesday as part of an investigation into possible animal cruelty, according to authorities.
"This investigation stems from complaints of possible animal cruelty," Naugatuck police wrote in a statement. "As a result, evidence was seized and the investigation remains active at this time."
No other information about the case was released, except that the Naugatuck Police Department was aided in the execution of the search and seizure warrant by other "partner agencies."

The business is located on Hunters Mountain Road in Naugatuck, and according to the company's website, it will train "any dog, any size, any issue."
