Naugatuck Christmas Tree Collection 2025 Information: Public Works

NAUGATUCK, CT — Christmas tree collection will take place throughout the borough during the week of Jan. 6, 2025, according to Naugatuck Public Works.

In a Facebook post, Public Works officials said residents should place their trees at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on their regular trash and/or recycling day for pickup.

Residents are asked to please remove all lights and ornaments from their trees and place them along the roadside where DPW workers can see them.

Trees in plastic bags will not be accepted, according to Public Works. Collection may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.

Residents may also bring their trees to the Naugatuck Transfer Station on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to Public Works.
