Naugatuck Man Killed In Crash, ID Released: Norwalk Police
Police said the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle.

NORWALK, CT — A 36-year-old Naugatuck resident was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon, Norwalk police said.
At 4:46 p.m. police received multiple calls requesting emergency response to the intersection of Grist Mill Road and the Route 7 connector on a report of a single motor vehicle accident, which resulted in the death of the sole occupant of the car, police said.
Police found a single vehicle in the embankment area off the roadway and began working with Norwalk firefighters to extricate the driver, police said.

Joshua Chapman, 37, of Naugatuck, was removed from the car. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
