Naugatuck Public Schools is seeking input from the community as it searches for a new superintendent.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Public Schools is seeking input from the community as it searches for a new superintendent of schools.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, district officials said the Naugatuck Board of Education has engaged the New England School Development Council to assist in its search for a new superintendent.

As part of the search process, the district has been "provided a survey to distribute in our community to gain crucial insight on what attributes, experience and knowledge that our new superintendent should have."

The survey also offers an opportunity for participants to identify immediate tasks they think the new superintendent should address, according to the district.

The survey is available here, and will remain open until the evening of Sept. 21, according to the district.
