Naugatuck Schools Superintendent Appointed To Top Post In Woodbridge
Naugatuck's superintendent has been hired by the Woodbridge School District.
WOODBRIDGE, CT — Naugatuck Superintendent of Schools Christopher Montini has been named the new superintendent for the Woodbridge School District.
The Woodbridge Board of Education unanimously approved Montini’s appointment on Wednesday night.
The school board said in a news release that Montini’s work “in the field of education is impressive.”

Montini has served as Superintendent of Naugatuck Public Schools since 2020. His tenure in Naugatuck also included service as assistant superintendent of schools, principal, assistant principal, and classroom teacher.
“The Woodbridge Board of Education was pleased to attract a robust pool of candidates,” Woodbridge Board of Education Chair Lynn Piascyk said. “Throughout the process, Mr. Montini rose to the top as a well-respected and accomplished leader who embodies the vision of the Woodbridge School District. He is prepared to build on Beecher’s excellence while inspiring faculty, staff and students alike.
