What are you thankful for?
I was able to take care of my mother during her last year of life. My mother was diagnosed with vascular dementia, and she survived 6 strokes. Myself, along with my father, were her full-time caregivers and Iβm so grateful that she was not in a nursing home but in our home and we took care of her. She passed a month before her 89th birthday which is Nov. 28, the same day as Thanksgiving this year.
