Nighttime Bridge Repairs Underway On Route 8 In Naugatuck
The CTDOT announced this week nighttime bridge repairs are scheduled to take place in Naugatuck beginning this week, according to police.
NAUGATUCK, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced this week nighttime bridge repairs are scheduled to take place in Naugatuck beginning this week, according to police.
In a Facebook post, police said work is scheduled to begin Friday and take place through June 14 on Route 8 southbound at Exit 26 in Naugatuck.
According to police, drivers can expect limited access in Naugatuck on Route 8 southbound during the Exit 26 off ramp closure to Route 63.

Traffic control officers and signing patterns will be used to guide drivers through the work zone with a detour to Exit 25, left onto Cross Street and a left back onto Route 8 northbound to Exit 26, according to police.
Night work for this project is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., weather permitting.
