Obituary: Elaine Gabani, 68, of Naugatuck

NAUGATUCK, CT - (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Homes) Elaine Gabani, 68, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Waterbury Hospital.

She was the wife of the late James Gabani.Elaine was born December 10, 1952, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Warren and Shirley (Leisring) Sarasin.

She was a Home Health Aide at VNA Health at Home, serving patients in the Naugatuck, Waterbury area, and was a Naugatuck resident most of her life.

Elaine loved going to Maine and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Elaine is survived by her three daughters Lisa Jankowski (Paul) of Bristol, Erica Berry (Redmond) of Georgia, and Christine Peck (Brendan) of Naugatuck; her brother Ronald Sarasin (Pamela); her sister Bette Jane Bisaillon (Leo); her brother-in-law Thomas Daniels; her grandchildren Hayley and Redmond Berry Jr. and Bobby and Chloe Peck; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Denise Daniels.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 am until the start of the service.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animals For Life, P.O. Box 1481, Naugatuck CT 06770.
