The MSCS program blends advanced coursework with hands-on experience, allowing students to build expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence, software development, and cybersecurity. Offered both online and on campus, the MSCS is designed for recent graduates, working professionals, and career changers seeking to advance or transition into technology fields.

The MSCS reflects Post University’s commitment to innovation and workforce relevance,” said Dr. James Lee, Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences. “Students will have the opportunity to develop both the technical depth and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in a fast-changing digital world.”

The 33–36 credit program covers advanced topics such as algorithms, cryptography, artificial intelligence, and operating systems, culminating in a specialized concentration. The first cohort, beginning in January, will focus on the Cybersecurity & Secure Software Systems concentration. Future program concentrations will be:

  • Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
  • Human-Centered Computing & Systems Innovation

A final capstone project brings students together to solve real-world problems applying agile and research-based methods.

“The program was built to meet industry demand for professionals who can lead in areas like AI and cybersecurity,” said Lee. “Every course connects theory to practice so our graduates are ready to make an impact.”
