NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – Dec. 15, 2025 – Quinnipiac University’s School of Health Sciences recently hosted its annual cookie bake-off holiday celebration. As part of the event, the Office of Community Engagement invited volunteers to mix and match ingredients to create unique soup recipes and to assemble stuffed animals.
Faculty members contributed more than 40 soups and made 30 stuffed animals. The soups will be donated to A Place to Nourish Your Health in New Haven and distributed through its food pantry to clients and community members.
The stuffed animals will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in New Haven, where children staying at the house while receiving treatment at Yale New Haven Hospital will be able to choose one. All items will be delivered to the respective nonprofits in the coming week.
In addition, volunteers contributed pajamas, books and money for local charities.
