Recount Planned For Naugatuck Treasurer Race: Registrar Of Voters
Voters in Naugatuck cast ballots on Tuesday in the 2025 election.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A recount of vote totals for the treasurer race in Naugatuck is planned to take place this weekend following Tuesday's municipal election, the Registrar of Voters office confirmed Friday.
In an email to Patch, Democrat Registrar Louise Sheedy said a recount is scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m.
According to vote totals shared by the Connecticut Secretary of State's Office as of Friday afternoon, Republican candidate Adam Bronko received 1,978 votes while Democratic candidate Anna Montalvo received 1,974 votes, a difference of just four votes.

Tuesday's election also saw incumbent Democratic Mayor Pete Hess reelected to another term after running unopposed.
Michelle Dowling also ran unopposed for town clerk and was reelected Tuesday. James Goggin, a Democrat, ran unopposed for tax collector.
