Roadway Paving Program Schedule Announced For Waterbury

According to the city, the public can anticipate delays and/or detours and may want to consider alternate routes.

WATERBURY, CT — The city of Waterbury's Engineering Department announced Monday an approximate weather-dependent paving schedule for this week and next week.

According to a news release provided by the department, the public can anticipate delays and/or detours and may want to consider alternate routes.

Parking on the streets will be prohibited during working hours, which extend from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the city.

2025 Waterbury Roadway Paving Program Schedule

  • Monday, June 23, 2025: Finish paving Chipper Road and start North Main Street, Laurel Street, Kenyon Street and Taylor Street.
  • Tuesday, June 23, 2025: Continue paving Kenyon Street and Taylor Street, start paving Emmett Court, Bond Street, and Washington Street.
  • Wednesday, June 24, 2025: Start paving Twinning Street and Mansfield Avenue.
  • Thursday, June 25, 2025: Continue paving Twinning Street and Mansfield Avenue.
  • Friday, June 26, 2025: Start paving Erma Drive, Harker Avenue, and North Harker Avenue.
  • Monday, June 30, 2025: Continue paving Erma Drive, Harker Avenue, and North Harker Avenue.
  • Tuesday, July 1, 2025: Continue paving Erma Drive, Harker Avenue, and North Harker Avenue.
  • Wednesday, July 2, 2025: Start paving Birchwood Street, Green Bow Street, and Cynthia Street.
  • Thursday, July 3, 2025: Continue paving Birchwood Street, Green Bow Street, and Cynthia Street.
  • Friday, July 4, 2025: Holiday.
