Police said the Route 8 northbound Exit 27 off-ramp will be closed nightly on the following dates as the DOT upgrades signs in the area.
NAUGATUCK, CT — The Route 8 northbound Exit 27 off-ramp in Naugatuck will be closed nightly on the following dates, according to police.
In a Facebook post, police said the Connecticut Department of Transportation is planning to upgrade the signs on Route 8 from Bridgeport to Winsted.
As a result, the off-ramp will be closed nightly on the following dates and times, according to police:

- Aug. 26, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Aug. 27, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Aug. 28, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Aug. 29, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Sept. 3, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. (if needed)
Police ask that residents plan their commutes and travel accordingly, obeying all signs and traffic signals throughout these areas to ensure their own safety and the safety of others.
