Sobriety Checkpoint Announced For Holiday Weekend In Naugatuck

Naugatuck police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint over the Labor Day holiday weekend.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint over the Labor Day holiday weekend.

In a Facebook post, police said the checkpoint will begin Friday from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. The location of the sobriety checkpoint will be on Salem Bridge (CT Route 63) between South Main Street and Cherry Street.

Police also noted they are posting the location of the checkpoint ahead of time as a formal notification about these enforcement efforts are a legal requirement in Connecticut.
