Special Weather Statement Issued For Inland Southern Connecticut
A special weather statement has just been issued for inland sections of New Haven, Middlesex and New London counties.

From the National Weather Service for inland sections of southern Connecticut:
Accumulating snow, particularly across higher elevations, will taper off through 10 am. Between 2 and 5.5 inches have been reported, particularly for elevations above 500 ft. Little additional snow accumulation is expected, but snow and slush covered roads are expected through the morning commute as temperatures hover around freezing.
Late this morning into early afternoon, a line of snow showers, with a brief squall is possible with a strong cold frontal passage. This may briefly lower visibilities to less than 1/2
mile and put down an additional light coating of snow.
