Thanksgiving Garbage, Recycling Collection Information Released For Naugatuck

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Public Works has announced garbage and recycling collection information for the week of Thanksgiving, which falls on Nov. 27 this year.

According to the department's Facebook page, garbage and recycling will not be collected Thursday, Nov. 27, and services will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.

The transfer station will be closed Thursday and reopen Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Naugatuck Public Works office will be closed Thursday and Friday.

The final week of fall leaf collection will take place during the week of Dec. 1 on residents' regular collection day, weather permitting.
