They Run A Toy Drive Every Year: Naugatuck Hero

NAUGATUCK, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Deb Walsh, who nominated 3 Guys Talking Sports - Dave Walsh & Pat Granahan of Naugatuck.

Relationship to nominee: Spouse/Friend

Reason for recognition: Dave Walsh & Pat Granhan through their radio talk show '3 Guys Talking Sports' run a toy drive every year. This is the 5th year of the toy drive. Each year, toys are collected through donation from friends and family and distributed to local families.

One thing to know: They are every day hardworking guys just trying to help their local community.
