From New Canaan Country School: New Canaan Country School boys’ varsity basketball placed second among the New York and Connecticut independent schools who participated in the annual tournament held Sat., Jan. 21 in Greenwich.

New Canaan Country School is a co-ed, independent, day school for students in Beginners (age 3 & 4) through Grade 9. Located on a 75-acre campus in New Canaan, the school serves students from Fairfield and Westchester counties. The athletic program begins in the lower grades with physical education and progresses to a team-based program offering 13 sports to its students in Middle School (grades 5 & 6) and Upper School (grades 7-9) during the school day.
