2017 Chief's Cup Tournament on March 25
Yale's Ingalls Rink will be the site of a 21 year old rivalry on ice. Admission is $20 and free for kids 12 and under. Read on for details.

From New Haven Police: On Saturday, 25 March, Yale’s Ingalls Rink will once again become the site of a twenty-one year old (friendly) rivalry on ice. New Haven’s Finest and Bravest will battle – not flames or criminals, but each other, in a hockey game for a good cause.
The Chief’s Cup is an event for hockey fans of all ages. Admission is $20 and free for kids under twelve years old. Two games will be played. The Elm City Cup begins at 12:00 N, followed by the Chief’s Cup at 1:30 PM. A display of police & fire vehicles will be there for the kids to see. There will be an open-skate for those in attendance after the game. (Skate rentals are not available)

Ingalls Rink is located at 73 Sachem Street (corner of Prospect Street).

Members of the press are invited to Saturday’s games as well as a practice by both teams at the Louis Astorino Ice Arena, 595 Mix Avenue in Hamden. Practice begins at 9:30 AM.
