7 Shot In Multiple Attacks Overnight In New Haven: Police
It was a violent weekend in New Haven.
NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven had a violent weekend, with three shootings and seven people suffering gunshot injuries overnight Saturday into Sunday, police said.
Officers responded around 9:15 p.m. to Yale-New Haven Hospital for an 18-year-old man from New Haven who arrived via private vehicle with several injuries that were not life-threatening after being shot neat State and Ferry streets, according to police.
At 11:40 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert and multiple 911 calls and discovered a crime scene in a Hazel Street parking lot, where they found two women with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening, police said. A 26-year-old from New Haven and a 24-year-old from Hamden were taken by ambulance to the hospital, according to police.

A 31-year-old Hamden man and a 30-year-old New Haven man were brought to the hospital by private vehicles with gunshot injuries that were not life-threatenintg, police said.
Officers responded around 6:15 a.m. to Level and Lodge streets for reports of a shooting, according to police, who said two victims were taken to the hospital by private vehicle. A 20-year-old man suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was brought to the hospital’s St. Raphael campus, while a 22-year-old woman brought to the main campus was in stable but critical condition, police said, adding both victims were from New Haven.
