Hartford Lending Hands Inc. Expands Christmas Help Program to Support Families Across Connecticut

New Haven, CT — Hartford Lending Hands Inc., a Connecticut nonprofit organization serving families statewide, announces an urgent need for community support as the organization works to match families with Secret Santas before Christmas morning.

This year, 55 families have already been adopted through the Christmas Help Program. However, 58 additional families still need Secret Santas, and 19 families on the waiting list still need to be honored as promised.

“We’re asking Connecticut businesses, community members, organizations, and generous individuals to help us bring hope to families who are struggling this holiday season,” the organization shared. “We do not want a single child waking up on Christmas morning without something under the tree.”

Community members can adopt a family, donate brand-new toys, contribute to the organization’s fundraiser, or share Hartford Lending Hands’ posts to help spread the word.

In addition, Hartford Lending Hands Inc. will host two Toy Trunk Drop-Off events where the community can bring brand-new, unwrapped toys:
