NEW HAVEN, CT — As yet unidentified, the driver of a 2012 Toyota Tundra registered to a Hamden resident was killed in a fiery Interstate 95 crash in New Haven Monday, state police said. According to a Connecticut State Police report, it was around 3 a.m. when the Toyota, traveling in the right-hand shoulder of the northbound highway near exit 44, struck the rear of a stopped tow truck and became <a href="https://www.cspnews.org/post/state-police-investigate-fatal-collision-on-i-95-in-new-haven-1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">"fully engulfed in flames."</a>The truck driver, from New York, and their passenger were not injured, the report reads. State police have not identified the driver killed in the pre-dawn crash, they said, due to the extent of the driver's injuries.
