UPDATE: Baby Suffered Life-Threatening Injuries, Dad Charged, ID'd: PD
Fabian White, 28, of New Haven has been charged after his 3-month-old suffered a skull fracture and traumatic brain injuries, per PD, court.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A 28-year-old man was charged after his three-month-old son suffered infant life-threatening injuries and suffered a skull fracture and traumatic brain injury, police said.
Fabian White, 28, was charged with first-degree assault and risk of injury to a child, both felony charges, according to court records and New Haven police.
Records show White is being held on $350,000 bail. He's due in court Oct. 11.

According to New Haven police spokesperson Sgt. Cherelle Carr, in the late afternoon last Thursday, police received a report of risk of injury to a three-month-old baby boy from the state Department of Children and Families.
The agency told cops the infant was taken to Yale New Haven Children's Hospital after being seen at the Yale New Haven Long Wharf site with life-threatening injuries, Carr said.

Investigators with the New Haven police Special Victims Unit were told by medical staff that the baby was intubated and being monitored, Carr said.
"After a thorough investigation, including speaking with the parents of the infant, the father was charged with first-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor," according to Carr.
White is being held at the New Haven Correctional Center on Whalley Avenue.
