Man, 47, In Critical Condition After Car V. Motorcycle Crash: Police

Just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, cops were called to the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Kendall Street for a report of a crash.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A 47-year-old New Haven man is in critical condition following a Wednesday afternoon car versus motorcycle collision, police said.

It was just before 4 p.m. when cops were called to the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Kendall Street for a report of a crash, a police spokesperson said on X.

When first responders arrived, they found the man "unresponsive, suffering from injuries," police said. He was treated on the scene and then taken to Yale New Haven Hospital.

Police said the driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers. Investigators got video footage that captured the crash, police said.
