On October 1, Dolores Torres Sarmiento, of Bristol purchased a 5X The Money 14th Edition ticket from the Shell Food Mart in New Haven won $50,000.

NEW HAVEN — A Bristol resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in New Haven earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On October 1, Dolores Torres Sarmiento, of Bristol purchased a 5X The Money 14th Edition ticket from the Shell Food Mart in New Haven won $50,000.
