New Haven Police Investigate After Man, 47, Shot On Chatham Street: PD
It was 1:30 a.m., when cops got Shotspotter alert and 911 call and headed to Chatham Street to find a man suffering from gunshot wound: PD.

NEW HAVEN, CT — In the early morning hours Monday, a Shotspotter alerted to shots fired on Chatham Street by Downing Street, police said. Then, a 911 call about a person shot. It was nearly 1:30 a.m., when cops arrived and found a 47-year-old in a nearby house man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
Taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment, his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, police spokesperson officer Christian Bruckhart said.
Ballistic evidence was recovered on scene which will be processed. Detectives are actively following up with leads and surveillance footage.
