The resident won $100,000 on a Cash 5 ticket that was sold at Whitney Ave LLC at 1312 Whitney Ave. in Hamden, according to lottery officials. The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners' full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
