After meeting Fran, the greatest thing to ever happen to him, they married in 1963 and started their family in New Haven, only blocks from where Jack grew up. Adored by his grandchildren, ‘Poppy’ was never happier than when his grandchildren were around. He and Fran spent their retirement as devoted grandparents, always ready to revel in their grandchildren’s successes and accomplishments.

These past eleven months have not been easy without Fran, but it is a comfort for the two of them to be together again, having not missed a Christmas apart.
