Obituary: Joseph Rodney Costanzo, 28, of New Haven
Joey, known as selfless, loyal, respectful and loving, most recently worked as a fugitive recovery agent.
NEW HAVEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Joseph Rodney Costanzo, 28, of New Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Joey was born in New Haven on January 2, 1993, a son of the late Rhonda LaBanca.
He graduated from East Haven High School in 2011, and worked as a fugitive recovery agent for the past six years. Joey will be missed by all who knew and loved him for being the selfless, loyal, respectful, loving young man that he was.
Joey is survived by Donna Pfeiffer, his adoptive mother who raised him, his step-father Brian Sekscenski, his sister Carly Pfeiffer, his four brothers Tim Sekscenski, Tony Clark, Larry Clark and Robert Costanzo, his life-long partner Olivia Marinelli, and many loving family and friends.
Joey will be reunited with his sister Sambrina Costanzo and mother Rhonda LaBanca.
Joey’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, September 27th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
