Obituary: Raymond M. Subik, 52, of New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT - (From Lesko & Polke Funeral Home) Raymond M. Subik age 52 of New Haven, CT passed away peacefully on Sunday morning September 19, 2021 in Saint Raphael Hospital.

Raymond was born in Bridgeport, CT on September 11, 1969, the beloved son of the late Michaelene N. Subik.

Raymond lived a relatively solitary life, he especially loved spending time listening to his homemade cassette tapes of music and watching the New York Yankees.

He cherished time spent with his mom whom he missed dearly and spending holidays enjoying a nice homecooked meal with his Aunt Barbara Gergely and Cousin Vicki Dumas and her husband Curt.

We would like to thank Raymond's home visiting nurses and all the people who have helped him throughout the years.

We are especially grateful to all the ICU doctors and nurses and Vitas nurses at St. Raphael for all their care and concern while treating Raymond during his hospitalization and for their guidance through an extremely difficult time.

Raymond is also survived by his other cousins and their families.

There will be no services at this time. "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."

Raymond's ashes along with his late mother's will be taken to Saint Croix for a burial at sea.
